Odyssey & Oracle

Big Beat
WIKD 181

Labouring under inept management and an unsympathetic record company that wanted to rinse the band for singles, Odyssey & Oracle was badly promoted and received little attention, either critically or commerically, on its release. Over the interevning years it has quite rightly taken it's place as a psych masterpiece and now stands venerated amongst the 60's best albums. Highlights are too numerous to mention but check out 'Care of Cell 44'  as an 'Odyssey' beginning.
